Trifle Recipe.... :)

Chocolate Trifle
1 pkg. (181/4 oz.) chocolate fudge cake mix
1 pkg. (6oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup strong coffee
1 carton (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
6 heath bars (1.4 oz each) crushed

Bake cake according to package directions. Cool.
Prepare pudding according to package directions; set aside.
Crumble cake; reserve 1/2 cup. Place half of the remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of a 4 1/2 or 5 qt. trifle
dish or decorative glass bowl. Layer with half of the coffee, half of the pudding, half of the whipped topping
and half of the crushed heath bars. Repeat the layers of cake, coffee, pudding and whipped topping.
Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cake crumbs; sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving.

yield about 8-10 serving.

I made Frappuccino's today... :)

The Recipe:

4 cups of ice

1 cup of coffee (cooled)

1/2 cup of half and half

2/3 cup sugar

vanilla to taste (optional)

1tsp. instant coffee (optional)

Blend in vita-mix until smooth.

Enjoy... :)

Physical Science...

   This year I'm doing Physical Science, and this was my first
   experiment. :)

I put one end of the insulated copper wire in the water and baking soda. The other end was attached to a 9v. battery.

It produced fizz.

The end of the wire then produced bubbles.

The positive wire started to turn a little green.

Then dark greenish blue.... :)

I learnt that the blue substance is copper hydroxycarbonate. :)

Bamboo sword/walking sticks

You start with a piece of bamboo.
Next drill a hole in one end.

Then cut a piece of leather about 23'' long.

Cut the end as shown above.

If it's too long for your liking, just trim some at the end before you glue it.

(better to have it too long than too short right?)

Put your leather (the skinny side) through the

hole.

Fold and glue.

This is the glue I used.

Next start wrapping it starting from the end.
and glue as shown.

   Hammer a small nail when you're done wrapping to
   secure the leather.
   Make sure the nail is not going to stick out the other side. :)

So far we have caught 4 opossums, and 1 raccoon in a live Trap,

We let them go a few miles away.

Whole Wheat Bread

Put 3 cups warm water in Kitchen Aid Mixer (or mixing bowl)

Then 1 Tablespoon of yeast. sprinkle on top of the water.

1 Tablespoon of salt .

1/3 cup of canola, olive, coconut or vegetable oil. Then add 1/3 cup of honey if you use the same measuring cup your honey will just slide out and not stick. :)

Then 8-9 cups of wheat flour or more as needed. Mix well.

knead into ball.

Put in greased mixing bowl.

Cover and let rise till twice in size.

Next cut in two equal pieces.

Shape and put in greased bread pans. Let rise till twice the size.

Then bake at 350 degrees. for 30 to 35 min.

Once baked, make sure that you take bread out of the pans after 5 min. or else the bottom of your bread will be soggy. However don't get it out too soon, or you might break it.
